We are happy to announce that we’re hosting another toy drive this year!
Once again, our drive will assist the folks at Catholic Charities of Chemung & Schuyler Counties as they provide Christmas gifts and holiday support for less fortunate families in our area. However, with all of the difficulties that the pandemic crisis has caused, we have opted to do things a bit differently this year.
We are strongly encouraging monetary donations ONLY this year to avoid safety concerns with exchanging a large collection of toys through a number of hands.
Now more than ever the community needs positive boosts like this.
How to Donate:
- You may drop off physical cash donations in our office drop-box, please include them in an envelope marked "Toy Drive"
- You can make an online donation here (choose “Schuyler” and put “Christmas” in the comments box)
- You can mail check donations made out to Catholic Charities, memo: Schuyler Christmas to 215 E Church St, Elmira, NY 14901
- While we encourage monetary donations only, we will have a toy donation bin in our office for new, unopened gifts which we will sanitize
